Today will be a relatively short post. My relationship with Poseidon has not changed a great deal over time. The only real changes were when I began understanding his role in agriculture as a God of Fresh Water in addition to Salt Water, as well as his role in the household as a God who protects foundations and walls. These helped me better relate to him as I don’t live near the sea, have no seafaring kin, nor live in a tectonically active region, so I had some trouble with it before. I did honour him occasionally, on his monthly holy days and during the Noumenia, but he was never really high on my radar.
