Today, I have the same issue as yesterday, I have nothing to say on the actual topic. I will, therefore, share a Homeric Hymn to Demeter. There are two of those, the long one that recounts the story of Persephone’s abduction, Demeter’s search, the founding of the Mysteries, etc. The short one is three lines total. I will be sharing the latter here, and link to the other one below.

Today’s topic is rather difficult for me. I am supposed to share a piece of music with you that makes me think of Demeter. I had to look for a bit, but found a song by Daemonia Nymphe called “Deo’s Erotas”, part of their album “Psychostasia”. Deo is an alternate name for Demeter. Below you will find a YouTube video of the song being performed live by Daemonia Nymphe in 2014.
